What is A2 Cow Ghee?
Generally, cow milk contains two types of protein, A1 beta-casein protein and A2 beta-casein protein. But, many recent discoveries have proven that A2 protein is healthier than A1 protein.
Ghee when made using A2 milk which has only A2 Beta casein is called A2 ghee. This type of protein is found in the milk of only a few native Indian breeds of cows and other animals like the Indian buffaloes, goats, sheep and camels.
How is A2 Desi Ghee Made?
A2 Ghee is made from pure-bred, highest quality milk of Gir cows. Agamya’s A2 Ghee is made using the traditional ‘Hand-Churned Bilona Process’, which keeps the process heat at a minimum and preserves maximum nutrients when compared to mechanically produced ghee.

How is A2 Ghee Different from Normal Ghee?
The difference in A1 and A2 Proteins
Cow milk contains two types of proteins: A1 beta-casein protein and A2 beta-casein protein. Researchers have discovered that A2 protein is superior and healthier than A1 protein. The Making Process
A2 ghee is produced by the Biolina process. This is an ancient process where milk is hand-churned to produce ghee, thus all the essential nutrients stay intact. Then the Butter is heated for a long time on low flame to make pure A2 ghee.
On the other hand, normal ghee is made with A1 milk. The milk is churned with the help of a motor and different chemicals are added to it to make ghee, resulting in poor quality ghee that is not suitable for consumption.
